Old dull plastic chair refurb

I found these old outdoor plastic chairs at a friend's house and want to keep and restore them.

I googled how to make the plastic look new again and wd40 was suggested as an option

After cleaning the chairs and letting them dry I applied the wd40 and I was shocked at how well it worked and the chairs weren't oily !
