Honda Civic 2003 Mirror, Interior and Headlamp restoration
My retired Mum in Law was in need of a reliable run around car and I found this old Honda Civic that ticked the boxes for what she was looking for, i .e affordable, reliable, automatic and low mileage. It's a 2003 Honda Civic Automatic with 134000 km on the clock. The drivers side mirror was badly damaged with duct tape holing it together and the interior was stained and in bad shape and the headlamps were so hazy you could barely see the light shining through. Mirror: I managed to remove the mirror from the housing and repaired it with help from WD40 in loosening the screws as well as shifting the mirror housing back into its proper place. I also used the wd40 to remove the bad glue marks from the duct tape that was left on the mirror and body of the car. Interior: I did a thorough clean of the seats and carpets, dash and roof lining and the interior now looks as good as new. Headlamps: I had the headlamps sanded and polished and restored looking great again. Have a look at the pictures, there is still a few more more things I need to get done, but this old car is getting a nice refresh and looking good 🙂.
