The PSP 3000 model is notorious for developing a super noisy disc-drive which spoils your gaming time and is just unpleasant to listen to.
As a seller of gaming consoles I run into this issue frequently and having tried many different lubricants I've found that WD-40 works the best (Smells the best too 😂)
One spray of WD-40 and the noise is gone, permanently.
